The True-Surface Vibratory Greens Rolling System was engineered for three reasons:

FIRST... True-Surface® delivers controllable results. By varying the speed of your triplex mower and adjusting the dial of your Select-A-Vibe, you can create consistently true conditions on your golf course greens. Conditions so accurate you can provide greens within 2-4 inches of each other in a stimpmeter reading.

SECOND... the vibration created by the True-Surface® Vibratory Greens Rolling System can be used to disperse topdressing into the turf canopy. This eliminates the need for dragging/brushing and protects both your blades AND your greens!

THIRD... the True-Surface® Vibratory Greens Rolling System units weigh the same as your cutting reels. This means you can achieve the above applications without adding stress to your hydraulic systems. The hydraulic reel motor from your triplex greens mower drives an unbalanced shaft at 5000 rpms, which creates a high-frequency minimal weight vibration.

The True-Surface® Non-Vibratory Greens Rollers weigh approximately 140 lbs each. However, each NV Roller has a weight kit option that allows you to add up to 20lbs additional weight per roller.

The True-Surface® Non- Vibratory Greens Rolling System has a universal design that allows you to switch mower brands with a simple fitting kit - never making it obsolete. Furthermore, the advanced Tri-Rolling system creates a smooth putting surface.

The Thatch-Away SUPA-SYSTEM is designed with a swing-open chassis secured by a patented latch mechanism. Once the chassis is open, the cassettes can easily be lifted out and replaced with another cassette. With a patented cradling chassis, our cassettes stay secure with no risk of dropping out and damaging your greens. The SUPA-SYSTEM has 8 interchangeable cassettes to take care of all your greens maintenance needs.

No, although these rollers are a great complement to the SUPA-SYSTEM, they are not interchangeable. The amount of vibration needed to produce quality rolling results is much too high to contain into a chassis without shaking it apart. Only the True-Surface Vibratory Rollers have a patented design that incorporates an internal vibration shaft which transmits high-frequency vibrations to the large roller tube that encloses it. True-Surface has rubber mountings that not only isolate the vibrations from the hood, but also from the motor, frame and operator. True-Surface Rollers protect the mower from vibration damage and exceeds the strict safety guidelines by maintaining a VITAL separate chassis. The Thatch-Away Supa-System does not take the unsafe route of offering a vibratory cassette that will make the whole chassis, cassette, and lifting mechanism vibrate itself apart.

No, any cassette can be purchased with the initial system. Originally, the primary focus was on the verticutter and the outstanding job it does. Since that time, all of the cassettes have proven their value and are now available as full systems or add-ons to the original system.
